Terms of Usage and Conditions of Service
The Farm & Garden forums are a cooperative endeavor. To maintain an environment conducive to quality, please agree to the following guidelines and requests before using this system:
By using the Farm & garden forums you agree to the following rules:
• You certify that you are 13 years of age or over. All those individuals under 13 years of age will need a full release form from their parents before posting any messages. This is in compliance with the
Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act of 2000 (COPPA).
• Nicknames that we feel are inflammatory, vulgar, promotional, or rude will be removed.
• All forums are moderated for foul language and commercialized promotional posts.
• Because your posting may be more pertinent to another on going discussion, or it might spawn its own thread, it may be moved as Farm & Garden sees fit.
• Before posting in a forum, please read the charter for that forum. They are listed at the top of the main page for each forum and labeled 'Forum Charter'.
• Email excerpts of ANY type or length are not allowed on Farm & Garden. There are no exceptions to this rule.
• No press releases, newsletters, web pages, or copyrighted content may be inserted into Farm & Garden posts. Minor fair use excerpts of less than one paragraph (4 sentences) may be used if the content is publically available on the internet. All other forms of inserted content from press releases, newsletters, web pages, or any other copyrighted content placed into messages will be removed without exception. A link to the content is acceptable and appropriate.
• Periodically the Moderators of Farm & Garden will post his or her comments, but they may not necessarily reflect the opinions of Blueberry Publications Inc., or its employees.
• This forum system is not a venue for personal or private vendetta's.
• This forum is not a venue for personal disputes with members or companies.
• Links to farm websites and authority news & information resources (like MOFGA, CCOF, New York Times, ATTRA) are fine. Do NOT place a URL in your signature file - your profile has a place for a link to your website. Please use it. Links to other forums, commercial websites, etc, are NOT allowed. We do not allow live hyperlinking out of the forums by anyone except moderators and administrators.
• The forums are not a venue for advertisements in any way with the only exception being the Seed & Plant Swap forum (see forum charter). It is the sole discretion of Farm & Garden and its moderators as to what constitutes an advertisement.
• Commercialized posts and signatures will be edited or removed. Affiliate based URLs are not allowed anywhere on the system.
• Please keep your language clean and decent. Please do not use inflammatory language or obscenities.
• Please do not discuss politics, religion, or sex. These subjects have no place in our forums.
• Any on site private discussions (StickyMail) with moderators or administrators related to board policy or actions may be shared with administrators if we feel it is necessary.
• Please stay on topic within the forum you are posting to, and within any thread that another poster may have started.
• You agree not to hold Farm & Garden or its members liable for anything stated within the forums.
• Signing up with a user name that is an obvious domain name or product name will be removed. This is out of unfair promotion considerations as well as trademark implications.
• Since this is interactive, and everyone who participates in the Farm & Garden Forums is "in it together", please treat others the way you wish to be treated. One way to guard against misunderstandings is to read over your response before you post it.
• Flaming or personal attacks are not allowed or tolerated. Should anyone use inappropriate language, start a personal attack, or engage in hate speech, they will be barred from all further discussions.
• You are responsible for your own posts and agree not to hold Blueberry Publications Inc. (dba Farm & Garden) liable for any messages posted.
• By posting in the Farm & Garden forums you agree to allow Farm & Garden and/or Blueberry Publications, Inc. to repackage and publish information you have contributed on any websites owned and operated by Blueberry Publications, Inc.. If you do not wish to allow us to republish what you write, do not use our forums.
• When you post a message in any of the Farm & Garden forums you are granting a soft license to Farm & Garden and/or Blueberry Publications, Inc. to use it.
• You will not copy and retransmit or republish any information outside of the Farm & Garden forums without first getting the permission of the original author of the message and a Farm & Garden administrator.
• Discussions about moderator or administrator actions are welcome in email or local private messages but should not be discussed in public forums.
• Self promotional URL drops and whisper campaigns are strictly forbidden in our forums and will be removed.
• Calls to action and/or flames against any company or person will be removed. Conduct yourselves professionally.
• Links to adult content, pages with links to adult content, near adult content (including model and swimsuit sites), or messages describing anything against the law will be removed as soon as possible. Any discussion of those are off topic.
• Messages posted at this site are the sole opinion and responsibility of the poster.
• Anyone posting another members personal details or web site details without permission will be banned.
• Always be respectful of other users, the system, and the moderators. We put the system online in good faith, please use it in good faith.

We reserve the right to edit any and all content that has been placed on Farm & Garden.
